By participating in The Real-time Data Summit, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.
Respect: All participants should be treated with respect and consideration. Please be kind and courteous to others, and respect their opinions, beliefs, and personal space.
Inclusivity: The conference is committed to providing an inclusive environment. Discrimination or harassment based on gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices will not be tolerated.
Harassment: Any form of harassment, including but not limited to offensive verbal comments, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention, will not be tolerated.
Professionalism: All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, Twitter, and other online media.
Privacy: Respect the privacy of other attendees. Do not share or distribute any information or recordings of the conference without explicit permission from the organizers and the individuals involved.
Reporting: If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the conference teamimmediately.
Consequences: Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the conference organizers retain the right to take any actions to keep the conference a welcoming environment for all participants. This includes warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.
Virtual Environment: In the virtual environment, please mute your microphone when not speaking to minimize background noise. Use the chat function for questions and comments, and raise your hand or use the designated function to indicate you'd like to speak.
Recording and Photography: Recording or photography of any kind is prohibited without prior consent from the organizers and the individuals involved.
Network Security: Do not attempt to compromise the security of the conference platform or any related systems. This includes but is not limited to attempting to access accounts, data, or areas for which you do not have explicit permission.
